KL is just like most Capital Cities, busy and business like, but we were really looking forward to seing the Petronas Towers. Surely one of the most iconic structures built in modern times. Viewed from a distance, especially at night, they take on an almost fantastical aura. Kind of like the 1950's sci-fi comic books, Amazing Worlds or something. The stats are mind blowing from their height of 1483 feet to the high speed lift system. We went from the ground to the 41st floor in 41 seconds. This opens onto the sky bridge which in itself is staggering. The largest in the world. Not even half way up the towers and yet level with most of the office blocks around. We spent a few minutes admiring the view before heading back down.
