Perhentian Islands, Malaysia

The Perhentians are a group of islands on the east coast of Malaysia, south of the Thai border. Great diving and fairly undeveloped which is nice. We stopped off there for a few days to check it out. The diving was fantastic, lovely corals and plenty of sea life (including our first seahorses - very cute). Loads of Bamboo sharks hiding in the rocks and a few nice wrecks as well. Di isn't fond of wreck diving (a strange phobia about anchors and metal underwater) but I love it. Very surreal drifting around a large object in the ocean almost like being in outer space, totally 3 dimentional experience and also a real haven for wildlife. We spent about 3 days diving and tuckin into the beach BBQs before heading to KL. Still feel a bit guilty diving and then having fish for tea :( well not that guilty, I,ll get over it !! They also served THE best shakes we have ever tasted and we worked through the menu of banana, mango, banana and mango, snickers, snickers and banana mmmmm!)

Di ready to hop on the boat

What the hell is going on with my hair?
