Up early for the Bamboo Express. Ate fried banana for breakfast from a street stall whilst walking to the railway line. Played it cool with the local wide boys who want to charge us 20 bucks for a ride. We eventually get one for 3 ... sweet. KC Jones eat your heart out!! Helped lift the bogies and bamboo platform onto the single track and off we go. Me and Diane smiling like kids. Really loud and bumpy, bouncing fast along the tracks, cow on the line, fields passing by and then we meet one coming the other way!!! So, everyone climbs down, lift the whole thing off the tracks, past the other bamboo train, back on the track and carry on.
