OK bless Diane's cotton socks, she has visions of me cookin up SE Asian food when we get back so I guess there's partial motive (it'll never happen :) ). Jokin apart it was a bit of a laugh and I certainly learnt a few things. My chosen dishes were Spicy Papaya salad and Chicken with Basil, whilst Diane prepared a Green Mango salad and Shrimp Amok Curry. We started with a whistle stop tour of the market followed by an hour of chopping and tasting. Mine tasted ok but I cut the lemongrass a tad too thick and it was more like the consistency of toenail clippings in the chicken hmmm. Diane's curry was bang on though so I guess I will have to be chief taster on our return and not head chef !

Cookery course in Cambodia
Question, why would I bother going to the trouble of a cookery class when I can pay the restaurant half the amount and they'll cook it for me??? :)
