Kampot & Kep, southern Cambodia

En route to Phnom Penh we visited the sleepy little towns of Kampot and Kep. Famous for their salt, crabs and pepper plantations.....

Small boats under sail off to collect crab pots.

The crab market in Kep.

Tucking into a massive plate of crabs cooked with bunches of fresh green peppercorns and a large fried fish with sweet and sour vegetables.

Where are the wet wipes when you need em most.

Views from scootering around Kampot.

Surreal pictures from the salt pans. Miles and miles of them strected down the side of the estuary.

Jonny looking sheepish after running out of fuel in the middle of the countryside. Thankfully every other shack sells petrol stored in old plastic water bottles. The locals found this hilarious especially as Diane pushed for the last 20 yards.
